This program provides assistance with monthly food costs. Interested individuals must turn in an application and complete an interview, either in person or over the phone. The date the agency receives a signed application sets the proration date for benefits to start.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at https://www.ascr.usda.gov/how-file-program-discrimination-complaint, and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
