The
Carlton County Sheriff’s Office
is responsible for all Permits
to Carry issued in Carlton
County. Each application is
subjected to records checks
through the MN Bureau of
Criminal Apprehension and the MN
Department of Human Services.
Once those checks have been
completed, applications are
given to the Sheriff for
approval. There is a $100
non-refundable fee to apply for
a Permit to Carry.

Permit to Purchase applications

Cloquet may also be picked up at
the Cloquet Police Department.

at the Moose Lake Police
Department.
