This page contains links to federal
benefits available to veterans and their dependents. Changes may
occur during the year as a result of legislative or other requirements.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) World Wide Web pages are updated
throughout the year to present the most current information.
Eligibility depends
upon "individual" circumstances. To
determine eligibility for VA benefits please contact us and we will
explain all the benefits that fit your personal veteran status.
Eligibility for most VA benefits is based upon discharge from active
military service under other than dishonorable conditions.
-
Honorable and general discharges
qualify a veteran for most VA benefits.
-
Dishonorable and bad conduct
discharges issued by general courts-martial may bar VA benefits.
-
Veterans in prison and parolees
may be eligible for certain VA benefits.
-
VA benefits will not be provided
to any veteran or dependent wanted for an outstanding felony
warrant.
