The County Auditor is the
elected official responsible
for many county functions.
Some of these
responsibilities are:
• property tax transactions:
land records; land
transfers; tax
calculations, collections and disbursements; tax forfeitures and
land sales
• accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and payroll
functions
• board meeting minutes and
records
• financial records
including budgets and annual
statements
• election coordination and
oversight
• issuance of liquor,
auctioneer and cigarette
licenses
Carlton County doesn't issue
Game or Fishing License's.
